Camille de Sigoyer born in 1870 on the island of Reunion, settled in Bordeaux and married Marie Vincent, owner of Château Bardins located in the Pessac-Leognan appellation.Their son Christian and their grandson Yves took care of the property and its winery. Today, their great-grandchildren: Stella, Christol and Edith are working to maintain the integrity of Bardins.Major renovations and improvements are being undertaken to preserve this family treasure.Stella focuses on growing grapes and making wine.Christol, settled in Reunion, and markets the wine of Bardins.
Planted on a gravelly ridge with a clay-limestone background, the vineyard drains naturally towards the Eau Blanche course.

Respect for the terroir and nature is at the heart of their approach. The 24-hectare property includes 9.50 small vineyards lined with hedges. Vineyards are worked by hand without the use of chemicals. The property has been in organic conversion since 2016.
